Talk announcement – Tomislav Lugarić – ‘Just build this app for me…’

Tomislav is a Senior Software Engineer at Rimac Automobili. In his talk ‘Just build this app for me…’ he will explain how they went from manually deploying software in a few Concept_Ones to supporting hundreds of people over multiple projects&platforms.

As Rimac Automobili grew from a small startup gathered around the Concept-One to a 1000+ employee company delivering multiple projects for different OEMs, their Infotainment OS and its ecosystem had to evolve and change as well.

This lecture tells a story of some of the challenges they faced along the way, and how they solved (or are still trying to solve) them.

You will hear about applications of Yocto embedded linux, bitbake build system, opkg package manager, swupdate, AWS.
