VIDI-X in computer science teaching (for high schools)

VIDI-X in computer science teaching (for high schools)

May 19, 2022 from 08:30 to 10:00

Speaker: Tomislav Jagušt

VIDI Project X is a development microcomputer completely designed and engineered in Croatia. It is powered by a powerful ESP32 processor with 2 cores and a touchscreen TFT screen. VIDI X is equipped with several interesting sensors and a special slot for further expansion of functionality. The possibilities of using VIDI X microcomputers are innumerable.
Additional sensors can be connected to it to control more complex systems such as smart home or classroom control, and its Wi-Fi and BT communication capabilities can be used to connect to various external systems.
VIDI Project X makes great use of the powerful dual-core ESP32 processor and serves as a multifunctional microcomputer or development board, as an efficient HUB for a cluster of different sensors or for a completely new purpose that the community will gather around it.
Project X has already released its tentacles among the largest Croatian technology companies that have helped us in testing, but also in project development.
In this workshop we will learn how to write simple programs for vidi-x, but also how to use this computer in teaching computer science or some other subject.
This workshop is in Croatian.
